Sabancı Foundation, closely following the best practices in the field of accessibility, launched new initiatives in this area in 2024 and continued its efforts to make all its content accessible.

After implementing the “Accessibility Checklist,” all Sabancı Foundation events were enhanced to ensure that accessibility measures were properly in place. The accessibility measures included a tactile map, real-time audio description, detailed environmental information, and live subtitles and supertitles.

Throughout 2024, we continued our accessibility efforts for Changemakers, the Grant Scheme, the Short Film Competition, and special event videos. This support included providing audio descriptions, Turkish Sign Language interpretation, and descriptive subtitles for our video content.
