The Sabancı Foundation became a fourth-time Main Sponsor of the Eight AIMA (Ayvalık International Music Academy) Music Festival in 2022. Held on August 16–22, 2022, the festival included six performances at three different locations.

This year, on April 23, we celebrated National Sovereignty and Children's Day with the motto "Fest in the Sky," flying a gigantic kite of precedented size decorated with a portrait of Atatürk. The kite was made by an 11th-season Changemaker, kite crafter Zahit Mungan.

In addition to the festival for disadvantaged children in Kuruçeşme, Istanbul, we also organized workshops at the Sakıp Sabancı Mardin City Museum and the Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum. We delivered kites to schools and the Foundation's institutions, in Adana, Batman, Hakkari, and Istanbul and expanded the reach of the festival.

The April 23 film with the theme Fest in the Sky reached millions on TV channels and social media accounts.
