The Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (TUGFO), founded by the Sabancı Foundation, is under the baton of Conductor Cem Mansur. It comprises young musical talents carefully selected from the foremost music schools across Türkiye Since 2009, our Foundation has been supporting TUGFO, which operates under the Sevda-Cenap And Music Foundation, and this support was continued in 2023.

Each year, the orchestra welcomes close to a hundred young musicians. In 2023, it delivered nine captivating performances. Three concerts were held in Istanbul, Ankara, and Cappadocia, while an additional six took place at various venues across Italy as part of the European tour.

TUGFO also hosted the Sabancı Group Special Concert in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Republic, held at the Atatürk Cultural Center on September 8, 2023.

TUGFO, comprised of talented young musicians selected through auditions conducted in conservatories across many cities in Türkiye, captivated classical music enthusiasts with their distinguished repertoire.

A full-fledged member of the European Federation of National Youth Orchestras (EFNYO), TUGFO aims to support young musicians trained in classical music in Türkiye, help new talents gain orchestra and stage experience, promote Turkish culture around the world, and eliminate mutual prejudices.
